Meet our Governing Body
We would like to introduce you to our team of governors, who work hard to ensure that The Meadows is a safe, happy and successful place for all our children and staff.

Chair of Governors:
Vice Chair of Governors:
Mr Shephard has vast experience in education, most recently as Assistant Director for Children's Services in a local authority, where he was Chief Education Officer. His experience in education includes secondary school teaching, senior leadership in schools, writing teaching materials and delivering courses to trainee teachers. He trained as an Ofsted inspector and has extensive experience of working at senior levels in three different local authorities.
As an education consultant, his key focus of work has been to evaluate and improve the quality of a school's senior leadership in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people. Over time, he has been a member of a variety of governing bodies including a college of further education, a secondary school and a number of primary schools.
Mr McGeachie is a parent governor of the Meadows Primary and he is also the local authority-appointed governor for the school. Although relatively new to school governance, his drive and goal is to ensure that the Meadows remains the safe place to be for all staff, visitors and pupils, whilst helping the school and all within it to achieve their goals. Mr McGeachie is an ex-Royal Air Force engineer who now works as a consultant engineer within the rail, aerospace and nuclear marine sectors.
