We would like to introduce you to our team of governors, who work hard to ensure that The Meadows is a safe, happy and successful place for all our children and staff.

Chair of Governors:
I believe I can help the school maintain the high standards of education that they work so hard for. If I can help in any way, I am helping not only my own children, but other generations of children to reach the high standards that modern life will expect from them. Also, this will help to secure a brighter future for those children and their families too.
I have 12 years of management experience within the NHS. I have an understanding of the fluidity and local authority and governmental department-led institution can be under, including the exacting budget restraints that meet head-on with performance targets.
I also understand the importance of robust policy-keeping and audit.
I do not hold any other governing roles within any other schools.
Vice Chair of Governors:
Having two children at The Meadows, I am very interested in what the school offers its pupils. As a parent I am keen to support the school and help enhance my children's learning environment. I look forward to being involved in making decisions in line with what I believe as a parent governor is best for our children and the school they attend.
I feel this will be a rewarding role and look forward to representing other parents at Governor meetings.
I have worked in the Travel Industry for many years and have good communication and organisation skills. I am familiar with large organisations and have experience of attending meetings to discuss on going issues and working practices. I am approachable, trustworthy and professional. I am keen to consider everyone's points of view and confident to challenge to get a great end result for all concerned. I want to help the school achieve its full potential.
