Welcome to the Caterpillar and Butterfly Classes!

Welcome to the Foundation Stage! In Reception, our indoor and outdoor classrooms are full of exciting learning experiences every day.

As children play, the principles of objective-led planning enable them to make progress and take next steps in learning as they enjoy all experiences.

Louis and Paula, two of our special friends, help to make sure we are happy and settled in our learning areas. If your child has moved into Reception this year, why not take a look at our transition book below? Louis and Paula would be happy to show you around!

Why not take a look around our exciting learning environments!

Learning Together: Spring Term 2018

Writing letters together was a focus for our shared learning event this term with our families last term. We look forward to further opportunities to share our progress during the new term.

Dough Disco!

Dough Disco involves moulding dough in time to music and performing different actions - for example, rolling it into a ball, flattening it and squeezing it! This activity helps to strengthen children's muscles, which in turn develops their fine motor skills. This helps them to become successful writers. We invited our families to join in with a special Dough Disco during the Autumn term!

Robin's So Excited! Our Christmas Performance

We enjoyed sharing our performance with our families. We told the story of Robin, who was so excited about Christmas. We told the Christmas story and looked fantastic in all our costumes!
