Team Meadows

We are very proud of our children's sporting achievements. Football, hockey and netball teams compete regularly and we celebrate their accomplishments during celebration assemblies each Friday. Children are also encouraged to bring their out-of-school trophies, awards and certificates into school to share on these occasions.

During the summer term of 2017, we have progressed to the finals of the Lincolnshire Games in both rounders and hockey.

Physical Education

At The Meadows, we continue to use our sports funding in order to provide a range of exciting activities and experiences for our children. Please click on the link below to find out more about the way in which this funding has been allocated.

At The Meadows Primary, the funding has been spent to support our 3 main Physical Education and School Sport yearly objectives:

  • To improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision across the school
  • To increase participation in PE and school sport
  • To allow children to access pathways into a physically active lifestyle outside of school

Sporting Superstars

With this in mind, children are recognised for their efforts in sport and games, and their attitudes towards teamwork. In our celebration assemblies, we encourage children to bring their awards and certificates to share, and we are proud of our school achievements.
