New home-learning grids available below!
On this page, you will find some activities that will help you with your learning at home. The grids accessible via the link below have been designed so that you can choose activities in any order. There are also links to websites that will help you with your learning.
New April 2nd: Parents' guide to online safety and children's guide to the coronavirus - provided by the Children's Commisioner
New April 8th: Access a list of home-learning resources provided by the Department for Education by clicking the link below.
Parents and carers, please feel free to choose activities from different key stages if you feel that they are appropriate for your child's individual needs.
You could complete:
- 1 activity from the maths grid
- 1 activity from the English grid
- 1 activity from the research/topic grid. This could be completed over a number of days.
Keep a record of what you have completed in your book. Each day, write the date at the top of the pages you use. You can earn a certificate for completing the set challenges when you come back to school. You may find the daily timetable a helpful way of structuring your days.
Twinkl education has offered its premium resources and registration to parents and teachers free of charge for one month. The 'Learning Links' document below directs you to suitable home-learning activities, should you wish to take advantage of this opportunity.
Possible Daily Timetable
There is no expectation placed upon parents and carers to follow the timetable below with their children at home. It is offered as a means of supporting children's learning at home for any families who would like to use it, in whole or in part.
Maths lessons are available from 'I See Maths' using the video links below. They are a brilliant resource, and you could do a different lesson each day; they follow in a sequence and build on learning each session. A new lesson is available each day, and you can subscribe to the YouTube channel to access them live. Below, we have collected some one-off activities that you may like to complete as extra challenges! The Problems of the Day are taken from White Rose Maths.

You can find resources to help you with reading, writing and spelling below. The comprehension activities include a text to read and some questions to answer. There are three levels of challenge, with 'three stars' providing the greatest challenge. You could read on-screen and use the questions to talk about what you have read. If you would like to record your answers in your home book, an adult could check them with the answers provided. No cheating!

Learning with Lincoln City
We would like to share some resources which have been provided by Lincoln City Foundation. There are some fun and practical activities which you can use at home to work on mathematics and spelling.
You can access PE with Joe videos at Body Coach TV on YouTube. Here is a link to one of the latest sessions to help you to challenge yourselves and stay fit and active while at home.

Join Ollie Tunmer from Beat Goes On to learn some exciting rhythms and body percussion. There is a different session each day. All of the movements are then combined for a performance at the end of the week!
